What this blog is all about

One of thousands of South African families looking elsewhere for a positive life, the Naudes of Pretoria have done things a little differently. We got accepted and were given residency before we got jobs; and secondly we are doing the move in two phases: phase one involves Steph and Juliette setting up base camp. Phase two involves Karen and Etienne selling previous base camp and joining us. This could be one week, one month or one year away.

This blog is an attempt to keep contact between the split family, the friends and family left behind and also to remind ourselves (hopefully one day) about our first tentative steps into a new beginning.

    Nah,
They know y’all from SA and probably figure that they’d better give you the stuff – or else you’d just take it anyway…
Seriously – I’m so happy that things are going well and that you have been at the receiving end of so much kindness.
The blog is a great idea! A bit of an inspiration to me.
    Love you both
